Policy

Privacy.

ABDR collects as little information as possible, and only what is needed to fulfil orders and answer your questions. This page explains what we hold, why we hold it, and how you can have it removed.

01

Who we are

ABDR is the data controller for the personal information described on this page. For any privacy matter, write to info@abdr.uk.

02

What we collect

Orders — name, delivery address, email address and order details. Card payments are processed by our payment provider; we never see or store your full card details.

Correspondence — the content of emails you send us, so we can reply and keep a record.

Technical data — basic, aggregated information about site visits used to understand demand and keep the site secure.

03

Why we use it

To process and deliver your order, to provide customer support, and to protect the site from misuse.

We rely on your consent for marketing emails, on the performance of a contract for orders, and on our legitimate interests for security and service improvement.

04

Email & marketing

Placing an order means you will receive transactional emails about that order, and occasional updates about ABDR releases if you have opted in. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can opt out at any time without affecting an existing order.

05

Sharing

We never sell your data. We share it only with the service providers required to operate — hosting, database, email delivery, payment processing and Royal Mail for deliveries — and only to the extent they need it to perform that service.

06

Retention

Marketing contact records are kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them. Order records are kept for as long as required for accounting and tax purposes, then deleted.

07

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, object to processing, or withdraw consent. Email info@abdr.uk and we will respond within one month. You may also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.

08

Security

Data is held on access-controlled, encrypted infrastructure. No system is perfect, but we take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information.
